Crushes

Great game but the black pitts 2 Crushes too much!!!!!

Thank you

I have this from GOG but I never play on my mac. Thank you for enabling me to relive that adventure. Just wonderful. Die Steuerung ist gut, es ist toll spielbar und die Stimmung etc. ist sofort da. Eines der besten Spiele aller Zeiten.

The wait is over

Beamdog really showed some patience as this ios release was a month or more late to release after accepted by the App Store, but so far worth every min of waiting. Having one of the best RPGs of our time on the go with you anywhere is certainly worth the price of 3 beers at the bar.

Fantastic Game!

You owe it to yourself to give this classic game a chance! One of the best computer RPG games of all time.

Great stuff!

I am about 2 hours into BG2:EE and loving it. This style of game translates so well to touchpad devices. Looks great, sounds great.

Waste of $15

the WORST game i have ever (tried) to play. zero tutorial, poor graphics and gameplay. horrible game. $15 should blow me away. one more game on the deleted list

Great title but....

Clicking certain items , such as the hamster causes your game to crash, you have no idea how annoying it is to play for a while and then the gam crashes , erasing all your progress. Make sure to auto save OFTEN, because you will regret it if you dont.

Excellent game, but...

On the one hand, this game is incredible. Lots of fun, compelling story--you would be hard pressed to find a deeper (and longer!) RPG on the Itunes store. However, 15.99 for the app, and then I ALSO have to spring for the additional NPCs? A complete rip off, Beamdog. Shame on you. If youre one of those people that doesnt mind paying for "not the complete game", youll have fun with this. I however, dont support this kind of marketing.

Excellent but has bugs

A triumphant return for Baldurs Gate 2! Controls are polished, and all the old familiar people and places are faithfully restored. This is a magnificent game that locks up if you switch to another program. Quicksave before you do that. Ill give it 5 stars when that gets patched.

Soooooo good....

The game is just a prefect replica of what i use to play on pc, i just love , its like playing dungeons & dragons by yourself. Oh and to the guy that wrote "there is no tutorial bla bla bla, dude there is a baldurs gate one bro just play the first one it has a tutorial. 5/5 for me keep up the good wprk guys im amazed

Amazing!

Planescape Torment next please! ;)

So much nostalgia.

Beamdog has yet again done a terrific job in porting this classic game from PC to iPad. There are a few minor issues with touch control response (for example, after loading a quick save I had trouble targeting the shadow dragon before zooming in a bit) but the game otherwise feels like it could have been made for tablets in the first place. Ive wanted to get back into these games for years and now Beamdog had given me the opportunity. Thanks guys.

Boo.

To charge $16 for a game is fine, in my books. Just dont try to sell me more of the game after you do... Also, I think all of the five-star ratings are purely nostalgic. I tried to like this game, I really did. In the end though (about an hour) it got deleted.

So when is BG3 going to be released?

Crashed 2 times in 5 hours ( or longer ), not bad especially with the quick save option so handy. Excellent port Beamdog, please keep them coming...

The best RPG ever, portable!

Im really not sure what Trent and the gang were on when they decided to do the PC release on the same day that Sony released the PS4. It hardly seems to matter now, as BG2 is tailor-made for tablets. And, what you get when you download this game is an improved version of what was already one of the best RPGs ever made. Some people will moan about the in-game DLC, but its actually smartly done. The game was $25 on PC all included, and on iPad its $15 with optional DLC. The cost of the game will either be the same or less that what youd pay for the PC version. Dont want the new toons? Enjoy the game at a reduced cost, then. The game is 80-100 hours long already without all the extra stuff, so its not like you arent getting value for your $15. I will agree that an in-game manual might have been nice for those not acquainted with antiquated 2e rules, but thats a minor nitpick. Get this game, enjoy it. Its amazing, you wont regret it.

Great game great port

This is a great game and they have done a good job getting it on the ipad. If you are a serious gamer, this is for you.

Can hear but cant see

I can hear the background but everything is solid black screen?

Best game on iOS

Finally its here. The best game on iOS and one of the best RPG of all time. Has a few bugs, nothing unplayable. Worth the price, premium game. And for those complaining about IAP those were not in the original game, and are not needed to complete or enjoy the game. Thanks Beambog hope you can do BGIII...

Fun

Just like back on my PC it is still a fun game, great RPG for anyone.

Just a black screen....

Im so happy to pay $15 for a black screen!! How else can you steal my money? Make me pay for more of the game.... Oh wait... You did that already, even though I did pay you $15, I still have to pay more for characters and pictures.. Will I get to see them? Oh... No I wont. I just get to "hear" the game. Not see anything other then a black screen.
